Spent the day touring the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Walked among the largest known tree in the world, General Sherman, estimated to be approximately 2,500 years old and maybe a millennia younger than the oldest Giant Sequoia tree. General Sherman has a circumference of 102 feet and has the most mass of any living thing on the planet. Humbling experience!!!! Off to Napa tomorrow and wine country for the next several days.
